Italy pardons 40 million EUR of debt

The Ministry of Finances declared 15 projects that will be funded through the debt pardoned by the Italian government.

“The first phase of these projects is 5 million EUR. It concludes the first investment phase with 20 million EUR, which go as direct support to the communities. This is in line with our government approach towards social care and solidarity for the categories in need. The geographic extension of these projects affects the entire country”, the Minister said.

The Italian government has pardoned 40 million EUR of debts to Albania, which were used for local investments throughout the country.

“Thanks to this program, thousands of children learn in modern schools. Small businesses and tourism have received support thanks to several interventions. The categories in need have found an answer for various social problems”, Minister Ahmetaj said.
