The Italian Police has completed the hit against a drug traffic gang
made of Italian and Albanian citizens, seizing 12 kg of heroin and
cocaine.
The news was announced by the Italian media, saying that the investigations have been coordinated by the Anti-Mafia regional directory, which has discovered the international traffic.
According to this source, the destination of the drug was central Italy. The Police arrested five Albanians and three Italians that lived in Piza, Firenze and Areco.
The Albanian criminals are still involved in the international drug traffic in the neighboring country, besides the hashish that comes from Albania.
The Albanians are considered as close allies of the Italian criminal organizations who do not see the Albanians as foreigners any more, according to the experts.
