An airplane from the Italian “Guardia di Finanza” arrived this Monday in
Tirana and started monitoring the Albanian territory for possible
cannabis plantations.
Sources at the State Police said for Top Channel that the Albanian authorities gave their Italian counterparts a map of possible risk areas, and the first trip started in the rigid mountainous areas of Northern Albania.
This year, the police is expected to make 30% more flights. On board of the special airplane there will be an official of the state police. After identifying the parcels, the coordinates will pass to the Police Directory, which will take actions for its elimination.
