The defensive lawyer of pilot Guido Andrea Guidi asked the Prosecution
to present evidence that his client had the intention to commit drug
traffic in Albania.
The lawyer stands by the version that Guidi arrived in Albania for tourism, and that his airplane suffered a technical issue.
“My client has no status. We have issued preliminary declarations regarding the incident, and the client has declared from the very first moment that he suffered a technical problem that made him land”, Ndrejaj declared.
The Prosecution, in the meanwhile, is waiting for the report of phone companies, which should verify who he has been talking to. The Aerial Incident Office is also ordered to verify what caused the technical issue.
