For the third time in three months, Aeroclub Savona asked the
Prosecution to return the “Piper” airplane that was seized in Ishem,
when the pilot was suspected of using it for drug traffic.

The recent document was sent to the Prosecution last week, and the Italian owners say the plane is being kept without reason, since Guido Andrea Guidi is only employed to their agency.

But for investigators, even the position of the Italian pilot is unclear. The 69-year-old is staying in an Italian mission in Tirana, and he has been asked several times why he flew the plane illegally to our country on September 15th.

His declaration have been contradictory, since the first day he confirmed he had arrived because of the beautiful weather, but then he said he had been contacted by some Albanians to study the terrain for transportation of drugs.

Until the investigators are able to go somewhere with the case, the plane might remain seized.
