Italian carabineers challenge Greek military with Albanian eagle symbol

Challenging Greek authorities, an Albanian in Italy published a photo
with two Italian carabineers making the Albanian double-headed eagle
symbol with their hands.

Hajri Kaçi, from Lura, has been living in Italy for many years now, working as a manager at the Turin hospital.

Just a few days ago, the Greek Minister of Defense ordered harsh measures against seven soldiers of Albanian origin, who posed with the same symbol.

Even the Greek Prosecution started an investigation, while the soldiers were held under custody, their cellphones were seized and scrutinized.

The Greek Minister of Defense personally asked the harshest punishment against the soldiers, so that it doesn’t happen again in the future.

Hajri Kaçi says that the Italian military made this in sign of respect for him, as a citizen of Albanian nationality.

He also raises the question why is it considered such an unacceptable act in Greece, when no Minister in Italy has asked for the carabineers to be punished.
