The newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Albania, Alberto Cutillo, said
from Shkoder that Europe requires reforms from Albania, which should be
in cooperation between the two parties. But the justice reform is the
most important, according to him.
The Italian ambassador commented about the protests, and said that parties should stay away from violence.
“Protests are part of the democratic life, but they should stay within the law limitations and not return in acts of violence. This is a responsibility of the forces that push these protests. For as long that the protests are not violent, they do not damage the image of Albania in Europe”, the Italian ambassador declared.
