After leaving everyone to speak, assume and comment for a long time,
Ismail Morina, the man who flew a drone with a banne over Belgrade’s
stadium during the Albania-Serbia match, is speaking about his situation
from Croatia, where he is being detained after an international arrest
order issued by Serbia.

Morina decided to give an exclusive interview to Top Channel, telling about his difficult situation and probably trying to also calm his wife, who feared for his life.

“Of course, I don’t feel good about being in prison and also about my charges. These are ridiculous charges, not based on laws. I have never been scared, although the public my perceive it as such. I made my choice long ago and it leaves no room for fear”, Morina said, adding that despite being in prison he has had the chance to learn about what is happening around him.

“I expect more from my co-nationals, not only as regards my situation, but in general. As for the high-level officials, they are doing what they should have done earlier. But better late than ever. The Croatian police has been very professional and I can guarantee you that they love their country very much”, Morina says, adding that he has no regrets.

“My purposes have always been clean, without any bit of extremism regarding religion, ethnicity or anything else. That’s why I don’t regret anything. I am simply proud for my origin and for being Albanian”, he said.

He wanted to share with the public one good news he received. A communication with his mother, although in a dream, who was telling him that he would be released by April second of 2018.
