Is former Minister Haxhinasto under investigation?

The road construction corruption case, which has taken 11 people in prison, two of them former Directors of the Road Authority, could affect the former Minister of Transportation, Edmond Haxhinasto, member of the Socialist Movement for Integration.

The investigation started after Damian Gjiknuri, Minister of Infrastructure, from the Socialist Party, filed a criminal report at the Prosecution, after SP broke ties with the SMI.

The Court of Serious Crimes is verifying if Haxhinasto has carried out his duty as Minister. Sources confirmed for Top Channel that there is preliminary doubt that despite the Ministry of Transportation has not taken any measures against the corruption case, despite the report at the Supreme State Audit.
