The Albanian Minister for the Diaspora, Pandeli Majko, met with members of the program which aims to engage the Albanian Diaspora to contribute with Albania’s social and economic development.
The meeting focused on the progress and new propositions, while the three-year-program is funded by the “Italian Cooperation”, with the involvement of the Italian Agency of Cooperation and Development, and it is being implemented by the International Organization for Migration in cooperation with the Ministry of State for the Diaspora, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Finances and economy.
Minister Majko underlined the importance of adopting the project with the new legislation regarding the Diaspora.
The program will support the Albanian government to implement an all-inclusive approach for the engagement of the Diaspora.
