Investigative commissions, DP proposition rejected

The majority rejected the initiative of the opposition to change the law
of investigative commissions, allowing the opposition to hold meetings
without the presence of most of the members.

Democratic MP Eduard Halimi said that this “removes the chances of any majority from blocking control from the opposition”.

The majority said that the proposition is against the Constitution. In this move they see another purpose of the Democrats, who say that their initiative is part of an agreement of December 2014, which has not been implemented.

The agreement is a source of pretexts to avoid the justice reform”, the Socialists say.
