The Tirana Prosecution closed the investigations and found citizen
Kostandin Xhuvani as the only defendant for the killing of four people
in Tirana a few days ago.
Prosecutors Enklid Gjini and Erion Pano have rebuilt the dynamics based on the testimonies, and brought an official version of what happened,
Prosecutors say that Xhuvani and three friends were sitting close to another table where there were two of the victims, Edison Jaho and Enea Xhaja. The four of them drank alcohol while one of them left with a woman that was sitting in another table.
Witnesses say that at 04:10, Edison Jaho and Enea Xhaja have discussed with the two people in the table next to them.
The witness, the security officer of the bar, said that he saw Enea Xhaja discuss with Xhuvani and slap him in the face. Xhuvani left the scene while Xhaja told the security officer that there was no problem, since he knew Xhuvani.
The person who was slapped left the bar only to return later. Xhuvani has reportedly gone to Xhaja and Jaho and shot both of them.
Xhuvani’s friend, Erald Sina, returned to the bar and asked Xhuvani what had he done, but Xhuvani has reportedly told him that he feared having killed Arber too.
The other witness added that he saw Xhuvani leaving the scene with a weapon on his hand. This person, with the initials E.B, has helped the police while Xhuvani was leaving, by trying to block him while he wanted to run. He has also allegedly told him that he was Luiza Xhuvani’s son and that he would pay him a lot of he let him go.
According to him, these were Xhuvani’s last words before he was caught by the police.
