The Korce Prosecution started investigating the scandal reported by Fiks
Fare yesterday, in which Korce Socialist Party members were seen paying
2000 to students for them to travel from Tirana, where they study, and
vote for the Korce elections.
The money has been paid by the Socialist Party staff in this city, and they had a list with names. The prosecution will investigate for favor and bribe and will take the list used by the Socialist Party staff to pay the students, as filmed by the Fiks Fare journalists.
The investigation started mainly based on the video showed by Fiks Fare. The Korce Socialist Party leader, Ilir Pendavinji, declared today that they had not bought any vote and the students were FRESSH members who could not travel for voting, and for this reason they paid their ticket.
