Investigation of former Interior Minister concluded, now he will be facing trial

The investigation for the former Minister of Interior is now complete. Now he will go to trial, together with former Police Officers Jaeld Cela, Gjergji Kohila and Sokol Bode.

The Minister is accused of being involved in corruption and involved with drug traffickers.

The three former officials remain on the run. They are suspected of having cooperated with the Habilaj gang, who cultivated and trafficked cannabis to Italy.

The Interior Minister resigned after he was accused by the opposition of being mentioned in some surveillance tapes.
