The Police is investigating a robbery at the Museum of Arms in the
Gjirokastra Castle. The police arrested the guard, S.Zhuli, who is
accused of power abuse.
There is also a criminal procedure against the representatives of the private security firm.
Police has arrested five other people regarding this robbery.
The robbers entered in the museum this Saturday and robbed 11 weapons of the Medieval period: four rifles, four handguns and three swords.
The Museum of Arms at the Gjirokaster Castle in considered by experts as one of the cultural and tourist attractions that play an important role for increasing the historic profile of the town.
