The Investigative Commission for changes made among the state police,
ended earlier than it was planned. Three of seven opposition members,
including the chairman of this commission, left after a debate if these
movements have influenced the public order.
The Head of this Commission, Arben Ristani, demanded to include in the daily schedule the request addressed to the Police Chief, Artan Didi, which was opposed by the majority, which considered it a premature decision.
“We need to ask the Director to explain on what criteria he took the decisions to change the technical and leading levels of the police, especially as regards the information that these police officers have from their informers, in order to not leave consequences in the public order”, Ristani declared.
Taulant Balla, vice Chairman, declared that the request might be addressed to the Chief of Police, but the daily agenda cannot be changed.
The Commission asked for the 2800 Cvs of the discharged, appointed and reappointed police officers, a document that mounts up to 17.000 pages, which found consensus. But this consensus was ruined by the end of the meeting.
