The Investigative Commission for Law Implementation regarding the replacements at the State Police has not started working yet.
Arben Ristani, head of this commission, declared that they received only the cases for the police officers who have been discharged, not for those who have been replaced.
He asked a deadline for the General Police Directory, while the Vice Chairman of the Commission declared that the work should start with the documentation that has arrived so far, for 387 police officers who have been discharged.
“We have not received the rest of the cases, regarding the new appointments, the officers who have been transferred and the other documentation. They should bring more informatin, otherwise it will be impossible to finish within the deadline. This documentation is incomplete”, Ristani declared.
“We have an investigative commission to investigate three main dimensions: the cases when officers have been discharged, the new recruits and transfers. We have a mandate from the Albanian Parliament for this. Those who are really concerned should start working for this”, declared the Socialist Party Parliament Member, Taulant Balla.
The former Minister of Interior, Flamur Noka, who is also member of this commission, proposed to ask the Directory of Classified Information Procurement if the main chiefs of police have the security certifications or not.
