International Monitoring Operation reviews files of Vetting Law candidates

The International Monitoring Operation for the Vetting Law, led by Mrs.Calavera, have arrived today at the Ombudsman’s office.

A few hours after 164 applicants had a second chance to bring complete files, only half of them appeared once again at Ombudsman Totozani’s office.

The Vetting files were reviewed behind closed doors by Cavalera’s team, made of: Peter Ainsworth, from the US Justice Department; Ferdinando Buatier de Mongeot, experienced criminal judge in EULEX Kosovo and Macedonia; Theo Jacobs, Director at the Asset Confiscation Office in Belgium and EULEX Kosovo; Martin Kessen, from the Koln Supreme Court, Germany; US Federal Prosecutor John W. Vaudreuil;

Calavera’s team has 16 members, eight foreign observers, eight Albanian assistants. Ombudsman Totozani declared that the IMO has two weeks to review the files.
