International investigation for CEZ, Basha: “Challenge for Rama and Meta”

“If the request for international investigation is rejected today, Ilir Meta will have to break his solemn promise that he would vote in favor of that law. Edi Rama must break his public promise to engage the government for foreign experts in this affair. They will have to lick what they spat. The justice reform is important, but a major act, such as today’s voting for CEZ, has an equal political value with this reform”, Basha said during his speech in front of the DP Parliamentary Group.

“On December 8th, commemorating the first day of the historic protest of students, we have called a big marching protest in Tirana against the Rama Meta government. The best way to honor a symbolic event of the confrontation with the evil, is to get on our streets and protest. There is no hope that the situation might get better for the Albanian people. We will not gather on December 8th to protest, but for a solution. The solution is to remove this incriminated government. The solution is to create a provisory government that will prepare the electoral reform, will decree the decriminalization law and will prepare the early elections. Who will come to power must be decided by the vote of the people. On December 8th we will start the popular confrontation without turning back. The DP will lead this confrontation”, Basha declared.
