Internal elections at DP, Basha: “One member, one vote”

The Democratic Party will hold elections in 15 districts, with the
principle “one member, one vote”. The opposition leader held a speech in
Shkoder, the only big city where the DP won the past elections. Lulzim
Basha promised to turn the youth forum into the new and only model of
the Democratic Party.

“It is our duty to raise again like 25 years ago and bring a new model to Albania, a new democracy that will make every citizen get involved, starting from the democracy within our family, ‘one member, one vote’”, Basha said.

The opposition leader commented the situation in the rival party, the Socialists, accusing PM Edi Rama of replacing the free vote with incriminated people.

“This is a big difference from a Socialist Party that has turned into the property of an oriental leader, in a nest of criminals that dictate every decision. The Democratic Party was raised and is being reraised on reforms, western values and standards that are our DNA, our spirit, our identity. There is no better place to underline our identity than in the Shkoder of freedom, of Parliament, of resistance, the Shkoder that will lead the victory of the next elections”, Basha declared.

Basha appealed the youth to join the DP and remove Rama and Meta from power, who, according to him, are behaving like a mafia bureau that needs to be brought to justice.
