Interior Ministry: “Meci works in public administration”

The Ministry of Interior explained that Anastas Meci, who has been
accused by the DP of being suspended twice by the police, was removed
for political reasons in 1996 by the former Minsiter of Interior, Agron
Musaraj.
The Ministry says that Meci doesn’t work for the State Police, but for the public administration, and he does not depend from the Interior Minister.
The Ministry explains that Meci was released from duty in 2001, but the procedure had not been respected.
