The Albanian Interior Minister, Flamur Noka, made himself a protagonist
of controversies even in foreign media outlets this Sunday.
Everything started after he photographed his vote in favor of the Democratic Party, although this was illegal and, based on the new Electoral Code, he risks eight years in prison.
After photographing his vote, the head of the Kukes District candidate list for the right coalition uploaded it on Facebook and received congratulatory comments from right wing militants, but also a series of critics for the illegal act.
The vote photographed by Minister Noka was published on Facebook for several hours, before being deleted.
When informed about this, “Corriere della Sera” published a news with the title “Albanian Interior Minister is the first one to violate the law”.
