The Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, said for Top Channel that what
happened was that the police was making a normal patrol and stopped a
vehicle, but they were shot cowardly.
Tahiri says that the lack of authority in Lazarat cannot be removed within one year. He said that the opposition has never found the courage to support the Police in the fight against gangs, and, before asking for transparency, they should first condemn the attack.
Tahiri added that the transparency will be done by investigations, and that those who are responsible will be facing the law.
The Minister said the entrance to the village had been organized together with the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, but not with the Secret Service, who, according to Tahiri, had not informed them about a Facebook photo of the suspect in which they are seen with a sign of ISIS.
