The Interior Minister, Sander Lleshaj, said that the polling stations will no longer be organized in private premises.
According to him, this has intimidated voters, and that’s why they should be replaced by mobile centers that will be applied in Tirana and will later be extended to other areas.
“Many polling stations are held in restaurants and bars, premises that are not acceptable for some citizens, who go inside for the voting and they meet half of the owners’ relatives. They are often intimidated and or even give up voting”, Lleshaj said.
