The Interior Minister in Albania, Sander lleshaj, met with the FRONTEX officers who are cooperating with the Albanian authorities at the border, in order to improve security and border management.
Minister Lleshaj underlined that the cooperation with FRONTEX is very important for the Albanian Police, not only for fighting traffics and managing the migration fluxes, but also for exchanging the experience with the local authorities.
The FRONTEX officers confirmed that the cooperation with the Albanian colleagues has been very good from the beginning of the mission, May 2019.
