A meeting for the European integration process and Albania’s step
towards it was held today in Tirana, at the European Union Information
Center.
The former Minister of Integration, Majlinda Bregu, declared that during this process, our country has always failed with the political criteria.
“The political criteria for integration has always been problematic in Albania. Decisions have often been blocked due to the lack of political consensus”, Bregu declared.
She underlined that the European Union cannot replace the government’s will for fulfilling the criteria.
“To reach the European standards we need to be responsible. This is why we demand the government to show a bigger inclusion of the political actors”, Bregu declared.
