After Top Channel’s investigative show, “Fiks Fare”, broadcasted footage
of two Tax Inspectors demanding bribes, police has taken both suspects
under custody, the 43-year-old Albert Cako and the 29-year-old Anxhelo
Sida, who asked R.R for 20.000 ALL in exchange of letting them go
without a fine that would close his activity.

S.K is also on the run, while M.K is under investigation over power abuse. The owner of the activity is being investigated for active corruption.

Top Channel’s “Fiks Fare” brought the story of a butcher in Tirana, who confessed that tax inspectors had threatened him with fines, unless he paid them a bribe.

The citizen says he is aware that he has violated the law by not paying taxes, but he says poverty forced him to do so.
