An action for blocking illegal deforestation in Diber has brought the arrest of several people.
According to Bibe Dodaj, Inspector of the Forest Directory, they have seized four vehicles that were transporting lumber and fined them with 4 million ALL.
This material has arrived from Masdeja to the Lure National Park, and has been taken at the Forest Directory together with two other vehicles that were arriving in Prat, Selishta.
Dodaj asked the help of the State Police to stop further destruction.
The forests of Diber, especially at the Lura National Park, have been damaged in alarming levels due to the lack of cooperation between those who are responsible to preserve it.
