The Education Syndicate Federation asked the government to increase the
education budget in not less than 5% of the Gross Domestic Product, with
te goal to increase financing in the public education.
“Our basic request and the most important for the government is to resolve various problems during these four years, and gradually grow the Gross Domestic Product with 5%, because that would resolve the problems with wages, compensations and better conditions in schools”, declared Xhafer Dobrushi, leader of the Education Syndicate Federation.
The syndicalists insist in creating a teacher’s status, higher wages and constant trainings, so that they can increase their quality of teaching.
“The teacher’s status, the guaranteeing of their job, training and qualitative teaching, which is today’s most important demand in the world; and also equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their communities”, Dobrushi declared.
