Increased cases of infection; Kapshtica border crossing with Greece is closed

The high number of cases with covid 19, in Albania and the neighboring country Greece, has led to the closure by the Greek side of the Kapshtica Customs office.

The Albanian Embassy in Greece has announced the rules of movement at border crossings with the neighboring country through a post on social networks.

According to the announcemen, from 20.11.2020 at 06:00 until 04.12.2020 at 23:59, Kapshtica Crossing Point will be totally closed for pedestrians, vehicles, buses and trucks, both at the entrance and exit of Greece.

The Embassy confirms the blockade of Kapshtica and states that people, vehicles, trucks will be allowed in Kakavija from 7:00 to 23:00 on condition of 1 week self quarantine.

Meanwhile, through an important announcement is stated that whoever enters Greece for urgent work needs and leaves its territory, has no possibility to reenter until the end of the deadline.
