Two incidents have happened within the last night, leaving five
wounded in the towns of Përrenjas and Peqin, Elbasan district.

Four persons claim of having been violently attacked
this Wednesday evening due to political debates.

In Përrenjas, three persons were taken under the police
custody for attacking the car of the Democratic Party, hitting his driver and
shredding electoral banners.

The Socialist Party candidate in Pajova commune, under the Peqin municipality, Elbasan district, claims that the
incident is political pressure.

“Pressure using violence, leaving three wounded. The
entire crowd that accompanied the Democratic Party candidate was armed”, says
Agim Bahja, candidate for the Pajova commune.

On the other hand, Peqini Head of Police, Viktor Agaj,
denied the accusations saying that the police was standing by, doing their job.

Socialist Party representatives pretend that the attackers
have been armed and that one of them is a police agent in Tirana.

The Elbasan
Police Department specified that no one in the crowd was armed, except the
police agent who happened to be on the scene.
