The Prosecution of Serious Crimes has seized the depots of two companies
in Shkozet, Durres, through which the unprocessed cocaine arrived to
Albania, ready to be sent to the Xibraka lab.
The two companies are “Meridian” and “Alba Group”, owned by citizen A.T. Unofficial sources say that 15 tons of cocaine have been seized. They might have entered Albania through the same containers of these substances.
Sources say there are two types of chemical substances, pesticide for viniculture and other related substances. The owner said he has no information of how his companies were used for bringing cocaine to Albania.
Citizen A.T explained that he had ordered viniculture substances through the internet. The Prosecution is trying to investigate the mechanism of the entrance and reveal the entire network.
Meanwhile, German experts have confirmed the drug seized in Xibraka. Unofficial sources say they have not found anything inside the sacks with powder, which was suspected to be a mixture of cocaine.
The Prosecution confirms that the seven suspects have no bank accounts. They are verifying their real estates, since there has been no answer yet from the respective institutions.
