The Constitutional Court withdrew today to take a decision on the constitutionality or not of the majority’s request for the dismissal of President Meta, saying that it will issue the decision within 30 days.
Shortly after the statement, President Meta held a conference where he said that the next day a lawsuit will be filed against the majority, for falsifying a document of the proceedings.
According to the Meta, this is a serious and criminal act.
“Tomorrow we will file a lawsuit, as it is a very serious and criminal thing for the Assembly to submit a supposedly new piece of evidence to the Constitutional Court, the highest court in the country, which is ion fact a forgery to justify the violation of procedures, in this farce which aims to capture the institution of the President”, said Meta among other things.
