IMF: Albanian economy, immune from Greece

The IMF says that the Albanian economy is not at risk by the Greek
situation. The Head of the IMF, Nadeem Ilahi, dclared in a joint press
conference with the Minister of Finances and the Minister of Economy,
that the fund expects no serious risk from the Greek crisis.
“The banking system in Albania has enough liquidity and we do not expect any effect from the Greek crisis that could require an intervention of the Albanian government. Banks with Greek capital have lost their biggest influence in Albania through the years”, Ilahi declared.
As for exports, the low exchange will not cause any big influence.
