Some of the people who were arrested, including the self-proclaimed
Imams, Genci Balla and Bujar Hysa, are accused by the Prosecution of
Serious Crimes of preaching radical propaganda to children, same as they
preached to their followers who were convinced to fight in Syria.
Although the Ministry of Education declared they would start inspections, there is no list yet with the number and names of children who have left school in the past years to be sent by parents for studies at the illegal mosque of Tirana.
The Prosecutors mention the fact proved by surveillance, when the Albanian citizen, Ebu Muhamet, was sent to fight in Syria. Imam Bujar Hysa, who also served as teacher for the children at the Unaza e Re Mosque, expresses his joy in a phone call for the fact that one of the children has written a poem for the fighter.
After this communication, they have decided to post the poem in an internet page. The child prays in this poem to become a fighter like Ebu Muhamet, so that he can fight in wars.
The Imams say on their phone conversations that the child has written another poem for the death of Hasan Korvafaj, the man who was killed in Syria. The child says in his poem that martyrs reinforce the fraternity and creation of an islamic state.
While Prosecutors are insisting to secure the list with the names of children who have been indoctrinated, Top Channel sources explain that there is a fragment in the surveillance tape in which an Albanian who lives in Syria speaks with one of the imams and says that he had prepared four other people, two of them ready for the path of no return.
