Illegal constructions destroyed in Vlore

These constructions are situated 2 km far from the coast, above the national road. The Municipality say that the action is part of the promise to clean the coastline from illegal constructions.

“The first action was taken at the beach area, near the Soda forest, in order to prevent the construction of all illegal buildings. This is the second action from the Castle to the yellow line that separates Vlore from Orikum. There are 140 objects that will be destroyed. We are preparing the documentation for a third one”, declared Ardian Musta, vice Mayor of the Vlore Municipality.

A third phase will start with the intervention in the other side of the road and the piers built in the sea.

“There are 70 objects in the coastline, and many illegal piers”, Musta declared.

This action started before the general elections and was planned to continue with te cleansing of the entire coastline.
