The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, organized an “iftar dinner”
for Ramadan, inviting representatives from all religious communities and
MPs.
Meta declared that despite the trust and political convictions that divide us, we all pray in Albanian. Meta added that the month of Ramadan reminds us of the holy strength of sacrifice and patience, a virtue for human values.
The Parliament speaker underlined that this month we will be able to give a calmer judgment to one of our biggest values as a society and nation, the religious harmony and the model tolerance between them.
