The gas businessman, Ilir Karcini, appeared today at the Court of
Appeal, even though he has not been interrogated by Prosecutors yet,
after an appeal made by his lawyers, who asked for the court to change
the security measure with prison.
The session was held behind closed door due to the investigative secrecy. It is said that Karcini has denied any connection with Julian Sinani, the man who cooperated with justice and incriminated him.
Lawyer Ardian Leka declared by the end of the session that they will challenge the decision to the Supreme Court, claiming that there is no evidence implicating Karcini with the charges, which are ordering a murder against businessman Pirro Bare.
