The Court of Appeal left in act the incarceration measure for Ilia
Basho. He is accused as accomplice in the murder of his wife, Eleni
Basho.
According to the Prosecution, Ilia Basho has ordered the murder of his wife. The defensive lawyer asked for his client to be released for lack of evidence.
Eleni Basho was killed in the beginning of this month, near her house, in Shkoze, Tirana. She was executed by professional killers who had used a Serbian weapon.
The 35-year-old Eleni Basho was going home when she was shot three times in the body and head by two armed persons, who left the scene quickly.
After hearing the shots, her neighbors rushed to help her and sent her at the Tirana University Hospital Center, but the wounds were severe and the doctors could not save her.
