Hunting moratorium brings back brown bears, monitored by TAP Pipeline cameras

Wild animals are coming back to Korca’s forests, from deer, hares and brown bears. The latter was an endangered species that is now appearing more frequently around Korca.

The hunting moratorium has brought positive results for many species. The cameras installed along the TAP pipeline, have shown that wild animals are on the rise.

Brown bears were the more common animals that were monitored in their habitats.
