The Ministry of Environment said that the moratorium against hunting has brought back 66.000 birds in our country.
Minister Lefter Koka said that the situation is not yet as good as before the ‘90s, but the moratorium will continue.
“The Constitutional Court left the moratorium in act and it is giving results. Besides ours, we also had foreign hunters coming here”, Minsiter Koka said.
The Minister said they are working to eliminate the pollution, and he commented the news of Italian media that some containers with chemical waste have been hidden around Albania.
“The Ministry of Environment has a new law for managing inert materials. The law allows the transition of non-dangerous waste. We have had 10 transit trucks full of used tires, which went to kosovo. Everything else is beyond of our competences”, Koka said.
