The hunger strike organized by the Association of Fired Employees has
entered its seventh day, but Minister Erion Veliaj has declared at the
Commission for Integration that Mrs.Nertila Qafzezi has had a
problematic file.
While working at the Ministry of Social Welfare, since 2009 and until she was fired, she has received four different warnings, three of which when the Ministry was led by the Democratic Party Ministers, today supporters of this strike.
Qafzezi has received four disciplinary measures and warnings signed by General Directors, one in 2009 and three in 2013, one for not fulfilling her tasks and others for irregular behavior with the colleagues, superiors, dependants and the public.
Some former police officers joined the hunger strike this Tuesday, but based on the documents retrieved by Top Channel, Bledar Kruja has been fired after the institution made cuts, and he has three warnings in his file: one in 2007, for irregular behavior, one in 2008 for offending the colleagues, and one other in 2012.
The other protester is Hivzi Bushati, former Director of the Shkoder Special Forces, whose effectives used violence on January 21st against the protesters. Bushati was graduated for teaching in February 5th 2008, and has been let go for not appearing in duty. On November 6th 2013, he was fired for job cuts.
The other protester, Ismail Elezi, has been fired twice from the police, the first time was in 1992, for bribe. In 1994 he returned to the police, but he was fired in 1997 for not fulfilling his duties. He was hired again in 2006.
Elezi’s request to be admitted in the state police falls against some facts, since he has a disciplinary measure against him for violating the military discipline in 1996.
