Fiks Fare show on Top Channel took this evening the problem of the students of the United High School, “Salih Halili”, in Rrajca village in central Albania, who for a year have been studying in wedding halls, in basements or other in improvised premises.

This is because the Secondary School in Rrajca in Përrenjas Municipality, due to depreciation and damage by the earthquakes of recent years, was odered to close for its 433 students.

Students express their concern regarding this situation, where they emphasize that these facilities do not even meet the minimum conditions.

They are small and uncomfortable premises to develop the learning process. This situation has often led students and parents to protest, but no one has yet paid attention to them.

One of the teachers told Fiks Fare that many requests have been made on their part, but no measures have been taken. She says that these facilities are not at all comfortable, as the number of students is large.

The reporters of the show Fiks Fare asked for an answer from the Përrenjas Municipality, where they told them that a project for the construction of the school has been drawn up since 2020, but they wait for this project to be approved by the Ministry of Education.

The Municipality of Përrenjas told Fiks Fare that it was promised by the ministry that they will soon make it possible to finance the construction of this building. But until the construction of the school, they will try to adapt the classes in other buildings, such as the bars or wedding halls, which are rented.
