Hoyt Brian Yee, the Deputy Assistant State Secretary for Europe and Eurasia will be the US Ambassador of Macedonia, starting from the next year.
Yee started his career in the ‘90s with Richard Hollbrook, who is known as the “bulldozer diplomat”.
Yee’s appointing in Macedonia is valued as a confirmation of the increased commitment of Washington in Balkan, due to the recently increased efforts of Moscow to destabilize the region.
