The scandal of bribery and extortion of Covid patients in the hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” has deepened today with the arrests of 3 more nurses and 1 cleaner, who have collaborated with the accused Tire Alldervishi.
The 3 nurses and a cleaner who had been stopped by agents against Economic and Financial Crime, had set up a genuine scheme with the aim of benefiting as much as possible at the expense of Covid-19 patients and their families.
The Prosecution has requested the measure “Arrest in prison” for the 4 citizens involved in this serious fraud scheme.
The following were arrested: Mira Bushi, 52 years old, nurse of the University Hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi”, Sheqerije Koci, 61 years old, nurse, Sidorela Çela, 28 years old, nurse of the hospital and Rukije Hoxhaj, cleaner of the hospital.
Tire Alldervishi was initially arrested after pretending to be a nurse and extorting from the daughter of a COVID patient about 8 million old lekë.
The daughter of a COVID patient who had been hospitalized for 28 days reported to the police that Tire Alldervishi had received around 5,000-6,000 ALL every day, promising to take care of her mother, but it turned out that she did not do that either.
