Horror hours of the Ruzhdi Hoxha family in Darzeza

The family of Ruzhdi Hoxha is one of the four families that experienced a
real horror after the Darzeza village was flooded. Now they have been
sheltered in the Petova village, 30 kilometers from home.
The family made of nine members, six adults and three children 2 to 5 years of age, has fought between life and death for eight hours. The family members tell us about the hours of horror.
“The house was flooded for 10 minutes and I didn’t know where to go. My son broke the window, then the door and took us out. I took the children in a blanket and took them outside. We had 160 livestock and we don’t know if any survived”, Ruzhdi Hoxha declared.
“I don’t know what will happen to us. Now we are in the open. My son will come and take us”, says his wife, Resmije Hoxha.
“I broke the door with my bare hands and I got hurt. Now we are in this situation”, says the older son of the family, Fatjon Hoxha.
