The high-level dialogue between the EU and Albania will focus on the
justice reform, as confirmed in an interview for Top Channel by the
Minister of European Integration, Klajda Gjosha, one day before the sixth
meeting of this format.
“We will have a wide meeting for the five priorities, focusing on the key priority, which is related to the justice reform, the rule of law and law implementation”, Gjosha declared.
When asked if the meeting with the Commissioner for Enlargement, Johanes Hahn, could serve as a turning point for the consensus between the parties, Minister Gjosha gave this answer:
“History has shown that such meetings have served for the country’s best interest and for the political dialogue, which should not be like this, because the Albanian parties should be the ones to be interested to find dialogue. I think that this will serve for good, but this depends on the good will of all parties”, Gjosha declared.
According to Gjosha, this meeting will be dedicated to the property issue, which is one of the five priorities of the EU. According to her, however, this also needs agreement.
