The funeral for renowned Albanian architect, Agron Jano, whose name will
remain engraved in many important architectural projects in Albania,
was held today with the presence of his wife, linguist Kristina Jorgaqi,
and many relatives, friends and colleagues.
“Agron was elite. He was the top at school, and also in life. He radiated kindness and professionalism. He was a painter, an architect, and he loved life”, one of the friends declared.
“We lost an excellent man, a talented architect”, declared former Prime Minister Ylli Bufi.
Agron Jano, head of the Association of Architects and a Professor passed away at 59 after a depression crisis.
The association of architects declared that part of their association went away with him.
Agron Jano was one of the most renowned architects, whose ideas became concrete in a series of objects and fairs.
