Homage ceremony for fallen agent

Peqin citizens, police agents from Elbasan Police Department, friends
and relatives paid homages in honor of the police agent Zabit Caka, who
lost his life while serving his duty.

The coffin with the body of the 51 year old, father of five, was covered with flower wreaths in honor of the sacrifice and war against crime.

Caka had been fighting for years against those who are not only part of ordinary crime.

The tears and the pain of his children and relatives have followed the entire minutes of the homage ceremony that was held in the Palace of Culture “Ferdinand Deda” in Peqin.

The Albanian Prime, Minister Sali Berisha was also present in this ceremony, expressing his condolences to the relatives and declaring for the media that the manhood and the resistance of this police agent should be an example for all those who serve to law and order.

“I wish the family to find the strength for facing this sorrow, and the spirit of Zabit Caka, who fell in the battle against the savage enemy, the enemy of every free citizen of this country, which is the organized crime, might find all the deserved peace. The loss is too big, but the resistance and manhood of him and his colleagues is an inspiration for all law servants, in whatever duty they might be”, Berisha declared.

The Socialist MP of the area, Valentina Leskaj also paid homage together with the Mayor of Elbasan, Qazim Sejdini.
