The official motive for this decision has not been made public yet, but
sources said for Top Channel that the troubled situation of his party
made the visit impossible.
The French President had planned to visit Albania and Serbia during the last month of his presidential term.
Polls which don’t put his party in a good light may be one of the reasons for his party to want him in France.
The Socialists have not nominated their Presidential candidate yet, while current polls show that the National Frond and Le Pen are a few points ahead.
